Bengaluru (also called Bangalore) is the capital of India's southern Karnataka state. The center of India's high-tech industry, the city is also known for its parks and nightlife. By Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha is a Neo-Dravidian legislative building. Former royal residences include 19th-century Bangalore Palace, modeled after England’s Windsor Castle, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an 18th-century teak structure. Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls. The Kabani, also called Kapila, is one of the major tributaries of the river Cauvery in southern India. It originates in the Wayanad District of Kerala state by the confluence of the Panamaram River and the Mananthavady River. It flows eastward to join the Kaveri River at Tirumakudalu Narasipura in Karnataka. Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles.     ARRIVE Bengaluru

     Arrive directly by International connection to Bengaluru Airport around early morning. Alternatively you can arrive by domestic Airline from Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Bengaluru/Hyderabad pre-noon.

     Meeting and assistance on arrival at Bengaluru airport. Complete Immigration (if arriving directly by International connection) and transfer to Hotel. Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru is the flourishing capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka. Cosmopolitan Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore) is one of India's most progressive and developed cities, blessed with a benevolent climate.      Morning Visit the Lal Bagh gardens developed with lavish care since the Muslim era and which now offer a variety of century-old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces and an assortment of herbs and plants spread out over several acres. In the centre of the park is the Glass House where thousands of colourful fragrant flowers go on show ever year in January and August. Visit the Bull Temple, the monolithic deity being the Nandi or celestial bull, a marvellous work on granite, the Mysore Arts & Crafts Centre, and drive through Commercial Street past the magnificent Neo-Dravidian structure, Vidhana Soudha - the government secretariat.

     Post lunch if time permits, visit the 9th-century Bangalore Palace, modeled after England’s Windsor Castle and the Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an 18th-century teak structure.

     Visit a café joint in the evening and get a glimpse of the local cosmopolitan culture

    Bengaluru – Coorg/Madikeri (ByRoad : 250kms / Approx 5 hrs)

     Check-out and transfer to Coorg Located amidst imposing mountains in Karnataka with a perpetually cool and misty landscape, Coorg is the place to be for all nature lovers and is also known as “Scotland of India”. This popular coffee producing hill station is not only popular for its beautiful green hills and the streams cutting right through them but also for of its culture and people. Coorg, officially known as Kodagu, is the most affluent hill station in Karnataka. It is well known for its breathtakingly exotic scenery and lush greenery. Forest covered hills, spice and coffee plantations only add to the landscape.

    Coorg – Kabini (By surface: 140 Kms/ 3 Hours 30 mins drive)

     Check-out and proceed to Kabini Wildlife Santuary One of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka, the Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary was once a private hunting area for the British. Today, it attracts tourists from all over. It is a must see for all nature lovers and those looking for a perfect vacation amidst the lush greenery and imposing waterfalls. Kabini has in store hints of various elements of nature, be it a huge variety in the plantation, abundance of wildlife ranging from carnivores to mammals to birds. Kabini is a favourite haunt of wildlife enthusiasts and photographers as it provides sightings of animals that are usually elusive in other areas. The shadowy beauty of the melanistic leopard or Black Panther is a rare sight indeed and Kabini is one of the few places in the world where one can view this magnificent creature in its elements.

     Post lunch visit the famous Mysore Palace. Mysore Palace or the Mysore Maharaja Palace located in the heart of the city is one of the most visited monuments in India. It is a historical palace and a royal residence at Mysore of the Wadiyar dynasty. The present Palace built in Indo-Saracenic style and blends together Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. It is a three-storied stone structure, with marble domes and a 145 ft five-storied tower. The palace is surrounded by a large garden. Designed by the well-known British architect, Henry Irwin, the palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world.

     Also visit the St. Philomena's Cathedral built in Neo-Gothic style followed by shopping & souvenir collection.
