• Accommodation in good hotels
• Silver Street (Chandni Chowk) Delhi is closed on Sundays.
• The Red Fort in Delhi is closed on Mondays.
• National Museum of Delhi is closed on Mondays.
• Check-in / out is at 12 noon in most hotels.
• Extension to other places is also possible with a minimum additional cost.
• Additional nights are available in each place with a minimum supplement.
• A visa is required and must be processed before your departure from your country.
• If the aforementioned hotel is not available, we will provide one of similar category and level.

    ARRIVE KOCHI (COCHIN)

     Arrive Kochi Airport by late evening or night flight.

     Meeting and assistance on arrival at Kochi International/Domestic airport. Complete Immigration and transfer to the hotel.

     Check-in, freshen-up and relax to beat the jetlag.

    Kochi (Local Sightseeing)

     Enjoy Breakfast at hotel

     Post Breakfast embark on a journey to have a colonial glimpse of bygone era.

     Go for a city tour of Cochin- visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace - open from 10.00 to 17.00 hrs (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663. In the ancient rooms are 17th century murals that relate in vibrant colour the story of the epic Ramayana. Later visit of Fort Cochin Area- legend dates Jewish trade with Kerala from the times of King Solomon. There are a couple of streets of picture-postcard houses out of another age, in 17th century Dutch and traditional Kerala styles. Visit St. Francis Church - open from 09.00 to 13.00 hrs. and 14.30 to 17.30 hrs.(closed for visitors on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs.) the oldest European Church in India. It has several antiquities including a wealth of records. These include a palm-leaf title deed the local Raja gave the Portuguese in 1503. See the Chinese Fishing Nets, unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast.

     Lunch at local restaurant/Hotel.

     Evening visit to Jewish Synagogue-open 10.00 to 12.00 hrs. & 15.00 to 17.00 hrs (closed on all Fridays/ Saturdays and Jewish holidays) in Jew Town. Later visit of Hill Palace museum

     Boat cruise along the Marine drive covering Harbour and other island parts.

    KOCHI – MUNNAR (By Surface: 140kms // Approx 4hrs)

     Enjoy Breakfast at hotel

     Check-out and transfer to Munnar through roads meandering through tea gardens.

     On arrival Check-in at hotel. Munnar rises as three mountain streams merge. Approx 1,600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea gardens, aromatic coffee and cardamom plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every twelve years, will bloom next in 2030. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which towers over 2,695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.

     Lunch can be en-route at any local restaurants or after reachin Munnar.

     The rest of the day is free for leisure or just a leisurely walk along the market place or just around the tea gardens.

     After breakfast, full day local sightseeing in and around Munnar.

     For an adventure, you can even go for mild trekking which can gift you with splendid views of the hills and valleys.

    Munnar– Thekkady - Periyar (By surface: 100 Kms/ Approx 3 Hours)

     Check-out and proceed to Thekkady

     Arrive and check-in at hotel.

     Post lunch visit the spice plantation.

     Evening at leisure / relaxation.

    Thekkady (Periyar Boating)

     Early morning Tea/Coffee at the hotel.

     Later proceed for Periyar sanctuary visit- Periyar Tiger Reserve, Thekkady, is an example of nature’s bounty, with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable visitor satisfaction. Sprawled over an area of 925 Sq .km., Periyar is one of the 27 tiger reserves in India. Zealously guarded and efficiently managed reserve is a repository of rare, endemic and endangered flora and fauna and forms the major watershed of two important rivers of Kerala, the Periyar and Pamba.

     The visit to the park is arranged by the government and is done by boat on sharing basis. View the wild life on board the boat. After the visit return to hotel.

    Thekkady – Alleppy (By surface: 130 Kms/ 3 Hours 30mins)

     Check-out and transfer to Alleppy/Kumarakom

     Arrive Alleppy / Kumarakom and transfer to the houseboat pier.

     Board the air conditioned houseboat for an overnight boat cruise in and around Alleppy The city of Alleppey with its tranquil, deeply shaded maze of canals and backwaters has rightly been called the Venice of the East. Heavily-laden cargo wallams ply these waters, laboriously punted or tugged by sails as heavily patched as counterpanes, sharing their passage with fishing skiffs, ancient chugging ferries and paddled dug-outs carrying goods to market. The beach here has dense palm groves at one end and an ancient towering lighthouse at the other. Allepey is also a centre for coir making.

     Cruise down the centuries-old backwaters flanked by picture-book towns and ancient trading ports. Palms meeting overhead are a green canopy. Sail through the jade-smooth waters passing quacking squadrons of ducks surrounding oared boats carrying cycles, bearded Syrian Christian priests, newsboys and fishwives with an aromatic baskets. People fish, swim, wash clothes with the squeaky-clean perfection of Kerala.

     Stream past slow boats with single sails made of old sacks stitched together, laden with green mounds of coconuts or piles of shells It is a languid, effortlessly unwinding cruise.

     Lunch of local flavor on board the houseboat

     In the evening the house boat is anchored and does not move.

    Alleppy to Kovalam (By surface: 160 Kms/ 3 Hours 30mins)

     Enjoy Breakfast at Houseboat

     Disembark from Houseboat and proceed for Kovalam.

     Arrive a bit late.

     Lunch en-route at local restaurant/hotell

     Evening is free for leisure or visit the local beach area. Alternatively you can go for an Ayurvedic massage.(Direct Pay)

    Kovalam (Kannyakumari Excursion)

     Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel

     Morning full day tour to Cape Comorin or Kanya Kumari (90 kms. 2 1/2 hours one way) which is Indian mainland’s end and where the 03 seas meet(Bay of Bengal//Indian Ocean//Arabian sea). Enroute visit Suchindram Temple and Padmanabhapuram Palace.

     Arrive a bit late.

     Lunch en-route at local hotel/restaurant in Kanyakumari

     Visit the Swami Vivekananda Rock by boat.

     Post sunset, return back to Kovalam.
