From war-ravaged forts to elaborate palaces, Rajasthan is a landscape strewn with the legacies of human endeavour, tenacity, skill and ruthlessness.

     Arrive Delhi Airport by late evening or night flight.

     Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi International airport. Complete Immigration and transfer to the hotel.

     Check-in, freshen-up and relax to beat the jetlag.

    Delhi (City Tour)

     Enjoy Breakfast at hotel

     Post Breakfast embark on a journey to have a partial glimpse of History of India.

     Start sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi with first visit to the magnificent Red Fort (Closed on Monday) built of red sandstone. Opposite the fort are the black and white onion shaped dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Drive past Kotla Firoze Shah, ruins of an old fort of the 14th century and the Ashokan Pillar of 3rd BC. Then visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Continue driving through the old city and get to see the buzz of the daily life of the natives. If time permits make a visit to the local market to feel the local flavor.

     Tour continues to New Delhi and takes you to the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. Drive past the Presidential Palace and the Secretariat buildings- the centre of all government activity and down the main avenue. Then drive past the impressive Rajpath (Kings Way) to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate. Later visit the famous Humayun’s Tomb built in 1565 AD followed by Qutub Minar, 72 metres high tower and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque. End your Day by surprising yourself with Delhi’s most curious antique, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD.

    Delhi - Agra (By surface: 230 Kms/ Approx 4 Hours)

     Morning proceed by surface for Agra through Taj Expressway or Yamuna Expressway which is a Hi-Speed Toll road.

     Arrive Agra and check-in at the hotel.

     Visit Agra Fort - the foundation of which was laid by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and continued till the time of Shahjahan. The high red stone monument stretches for around 2.5 Kms, dominating a bend in the river Yamuna northwest of the Taj Mahal. Enjoy the private hall, sleeping chambers, the court of King and the fascinating palaces inside the fort. Travel back to time on the interesting facts narrated by our guides.

    Agra - Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (By surface: Approx 245 Kms/ 5 Hours drive and 02 hours for visit)

     Early morning wake-up call

     Visit Taj Mahal (Taj Mahal closed on Friday) which is among the wonders of world that was built by Shahjahan as a memorial to his wife Mumtaz Mahal by the banks of river Yamuna The Taj has been called the most extravagant monument ever built for the sake of love. The great monument took almost 22 years to build and was completed in 1653. Believe its Grandeur and teleport yourself to that bygone era soaking yourself in the saga of love turning your dream into a reality. An experience never-before will be embossed in your memory to be cherished forever.

     Post lunch proceed by surface to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri situated around 40 km from Agra built by Emperor Akbar in 1569.

    Jaipur (City Tour)

     Enjoy Breakfast at hotel

     Morning visit Amber Fort and enjoy elephant ride (subject to availability) else Jeep ride to the Amber entrance gate. Feel the royal and majestic lifestyle of the erstwhile Kings and take time to know the very interesting history of the place. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. On the way from Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal- the Palace of Winds.

     Continue sightseeing by visiting the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armory Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.

     Visit the local market and feel the local flavor as well as indulge in the most done activity by every traveler i.e. souvenirs and shopping.

    Jaipur - Pushkar (By surface: 150 Kms/ Approx 3hrs drive)

     Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel.

     Check-out and transfer to Pushkar Pushkar is a town bordering the Thar Desert. It is known for its Pushkar Camel Fair and Pushkar Lake. Known as ‘the rose garden of Rajasthan’, the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported all over the world. Along with an interesting mythological history, a legacy of timeless architectural heritage makes Pushkar a fascinating city. The city of Pushkar is home to the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole world. Hindus consider a journey to Pushkar to be the ultimate pilgrimage that must be undertaken to attain salvation.

     Visit the local places of attractions including the one and only sacred ‘Brahma Temple’ of the world. Also visit the famous fairground wherein the famous colorful Camel Fair is held.

    Pushkar - Udaipur (By surface: Approx 280 Kms/ 5 Hours 30 mins)

     Arrive Udaipur in the evening and check-in at hotel Udaipur is the former capital of the Mewar Kingdom. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics. Often referred to as the 'Venice of the East', the city of lakes Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is hemmed in by lush green hills of Aravallis. The city is also known for its profusion of zinc and marble. Solar observatory in Lake Fateh Sagar is the only observatory in India located on an island and has been made on the pattern of Big Bear Lake in Southern California

    Udaipur (local sightseeing)

     Morning after breakfast visit of the city palace that was built in a amalgamation of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. Later, visit of the Jagdish Temple, dedicated to the God Vishnu. Then, proceed for the Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Sahelion-Ki-Bari or "The Ladies Garden", built in the mid-eighteenth century.

     Afternoon visit to the crystal gallery, which has been acclaimed as the largest private crsital collection anywhere in the world. Afternoon tea break and proceed to board boat cruise on Lake Pichola with view of Jag Mandir Palace.

     Visit the Jain temples (15th century) and the temple of the Sun God.

     Lunch at Hotel/restaurant  Continue journey to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan and officially the second metropolitan city of the state. Also Known as the "Gateway to Thar", it is famous for its Mehrangarh fort, blue houses, temples, sweets and snacks. Apart from the fort, there are multiple temples, lakes, shopping streets that are like a mirage from a bygone era.

    Jodhpur (local sightseeing)

     Start your day by visiting Umaid Bhawan palace - one of the world's largest private residences, a part of which is managed by Taj Hotels. The third part of the palace is maintained as a museum. It’s a huge architectural marvel blending modern design with rich and cultural heritage. It’s a symbol of New Jodhpur.

     Visit the very famous Mehrangarh fort followed by architectural white marble cenotaph - Jaswant Singh Thada.

    Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (By surface : Approx 5hrs / 290 kms)

     Check-out from hotel and lunch transfer to Jaisalmer Jaisalmer, the "Golden City", is on the westernmost frontier of India in the state of Rajasthan. It is known for its Fort rajwada, ravishing havelis, splendid temples and vibrant bazaars. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and a princely state in the heart of the Thar Desert. It is distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja's Palace and intricately carved Jain temples.

     Check-out and transfer to Mandawa en-route visiting Nawalgarh(40kms ahead of Mandawa) In the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan lies the beautiful small town Mandawa, known throughout the state for its forts and havelis. The compact and busy little market town of Mandawa was settled and fortified in 18th century by the dominant merchant families of the region. The wealthy businessmen of the village constructed many havelis and baolis with colored painting adorning their walls. Later-on, with the migration of these merchant families, their old settlements remained in total obscurity with no one to look after them. Despite the time lapse and ignorance about these visual and architectural extravaganzas, their attraction did not fade and today they are some of the major attractions for the tourists visiting Rajasthan.
